I havn’t forgotten about wordpress, just nothing has been on my mind as of late, and if there has been it has been insignificant!
This is the issue I have selected for my “poster project”
My view on this is quite simple and that is that nature is not to be toyed around with. It might seem all good in the beginning, but sooner or later, its going to kick man kind in ass.
The purpose of my poster isnt to be on a certain position on the subject however, just to simply to get people thinking about.
Here is a link to a book called The Frankenstein Syndrome by Bernard E. Rollin. Its a long read, but very interesting.
Here is some more short formed articles and things of that nature on the subject

Currently working on my Photomanipulation project. Im making an image that in the end will look totally rediculous, yet keeping it realistic. Quite an ambitious project for my poor skills and its quite challenging, but I guess thats why Im taking this course eh?

Credit also goes to AJ Hopkins and Allen MacDonald for their contribution to some songs when they were written
One of the most important aspects of my life to me is the music. Music can express feelings unknown and indescribable to people. It is a language that is universal and has no limit of expression. In saying this, I believe that lyrics are a sort of “evil” that has been done to music. Lyrics give a song a fixed meaning. One story. This of course depends on the listeners interpretation, but when written, most have a general meaning or message that is initially trying to be expressed, which listeners can relate to by having a similar experience. The diverse sounds of the instruments, when playing solo or in harmony with one another, can be a vast array of meaning and emotion. The music of Mozart and Beethoven all told stories and had such powerful, undeniable feeling without uttering a single word. And trying to describe their music with words does them no justice at all.
Do not get me wrong, my favourite band, Korn, is a modern band which uses lyrics in every song. I am not saying that language has no place in music. I am saying that language in a way has taken away the majesty, the magic, perhaps even the essence of what music once was. It was the language that Victor Hugo said “expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent”. Now, it just accompanies and increases passion that is put into the limited language of mankind.
